SwapRoyale is a mobile app that lets anyone compete in skill-based fantasy trading contests. Whether you're a seasoned trader or just getting started, SwapRoyale makes it easy to test your strategies and win real prizes without risking your entire portfolio.

At SwapRoyale, our mission is to make trading social, competitive, and fun. You enter contests, get a virtual portfolio of assets, and compete against others to build the best return.

Here are answers to commonly asked questions. If you need more help, please reach out to our support team.

<summary>How do I enter a contest?</summary>

Browse contests on the Home tab, tap one to view details, then tap **Enter Contest**. You'll receive $100,000 virtual cash to trade with.

<summary>How do I make trades?</summary>

Once a contest starts, tap your entry to open it. Select how much you want to trade (25%, 50%, or MAX), then swipe up to buy or swipe down to sell. Swipe left/right to browse different assets.

<summary>How are winners determined?</summary>

When the contest ends, your portfolio is valued at the closing prices. Competitors are ranked by their final portfolio value, and the top finishers win prizes.

<summary>What are credits?</summary>

Free contests award prizes as credits. Credits can be used to enter future SwapRoyale contests — they work just like cash for entry fees. If not used, credits expire after 45 days.

<summary>When do I get paid?</summary>

Winnings are sent to your wallet automatically after the contest ends — usually within minutes. No action needed on your part.

<summary>How do referrals work?</summary>

Share your referral code with friends. You earn 2.5% of their entry fees when they join contests. Plus, you earn 1.25% from anyone they refer. Rewards are paid automatically.

<summary>Is my money safe?</summary>

Yes. Your wallet is created and secured by Coinbase, the most trusted name in crypto. Your private keys are protected by secure hardware that even Coinbase cannot access. We never hold your funds — you're always in control.

Go to **Account → Deposit**. You can use a debit card, bank transfer, or Coinbase balance to add funds. You can also send USDC directly on Base.

Go to **Account → Withdraw**. Use the available withdraw options to transfer money out. You can also send to any external wallet.

<summary>What is USDC?</summary>

USDC is a stablecoin issued by Circle, fully backed by cash and cash equivalents, with 1:1 redeemability for US dollars. It enables fast, low-cost, and accessible global transactions.

No. SwapRoyale is a self-custodial wallet app. Our regulated partners custody your funds through the deposit and withdrawal processes.

# Sign Up

SwapRoyale onboarding is simple!

### Install the app

Download SwapRoyale from the App Store.

### Enter your email

We use passwordless login. Just enter your email and agree to the Terms of Use.

### Enter one time code

Check your email for a secure login code and enter it in the app.

### Make a username

After typing in the one time code, upon creating an account you must make a username. It must be original (nobody else in app has chosen the specific username yet) and appropriate (no profanity or slurs). This username helps others identify your account in app.


# Your Wallet

SwapRoyale creates a secure digital vault for you automatically.

When you sign up, an embedded smart wallet is created behind the scenes. This keeps your funds safe and ensures that only you have access to your money. No crypto knowledge is required.

You can export the wallet under the settings tab of the app if you would like personal custody as well.

### Entry Fees

Contest entry fees are taken from the prize pool of contests. Revenue for the platform is entry fees - referral fees.

### Deposit & Withdrawal Fees

SwapRoyale does not charge fees for depositing or withdrawing funds. However, our payment providers (like Coinbase or MoonPay) may charge standard processing fees depending on your payment method.

# Contest Types

There are different formats that involve and allow different strategies.

SwapRoyale offers Guaranteed Prize Pools (GPPs), Double-Ups, and Triple-Ups to suit your risk tolerance.&#x20;

Contests are also split between free and paid to enter in categorization. Free contests require no entry fee whilst paid contests require users to use either app cash or credits to enter.

Some contests specify what assets will be permitted for trading whilst participating. Permitted assets for each specific contest will always be specified under the entry pop up of each contest.

# Trading Rules

How portfolio building works.

You start with $100,000 in virtual capital. You are limited to a set number of trades per contest to emphasize skill over speed. Once you hit the limit of trades, you cannot make further actions in said contest. You can buy or sell assets within the contests to gain or reduce exposure to your virtual portfolio.&#x20;

Depeneding on the theme of the contests, permitted assets allowed for trading in said contests are subject to change. Pay attention to what is permitted into each contest while signing up.&#x20;

You can also stay in cash if you choose to. Your virtual portfolio will remain as is if you do so.&#x20;

# Entering

How to join the action.

Tap a contest card, review the details and rules, and tap Enter. The fee is deducted from your choice of your cash or credit balance.

# GPP's

Guaranteed Prize Pools.

GPPs feature large fields and top-heavy payouts. The prize pool is guaranteed, regardless of how many people enter.


# Double Up

Reward consistency over risk-taking.

In a Double-Up, if you finish in the top half of the field, you double your entry fee. Double ups require a higher finish to double your fee.


# Triple Up

Reward consistency over risk-taking.

In a Triple-Up, if you finish in the top half of the field, you triple your entry fee. Triple-Ups require a higher finish to triple your fee.

Earn cash when your friends play if they sign up using your referral link provided in app.

SwapRoyale features a two-tier referral system. Earn 2.5% of entry fees from direct referrals, and 1.25% from 2nd degree referrals.

What to do if a withdrawal is delayed?

Withdrawals to external wallets are usually instant. Bank transfers may take 1-3 business days depending on your institution. With any further delays, please contact support for assistance.&#x20;
